Student Research Support

Each year we invite senior students in the department to write a Senior Honors Thesis as the culmination of their studies in the Department of French and Francophone Studies. Interested students should contact the Director of Undergraduate Studies, Prof. Jennifer Boum Make (jb2899@georgetown.edu).

Thanks to a generous endowment from E. Joseph McCarthy (1901-1993), we are pleased to be able to support students as they conduct research for their Senior Honors Thesis. Students can request support for research-related expenses up to $400 and will be designated McCarthy Fellows.

Advisor approval is required, so students should discuss their request with their faculty advisor.
