Courses

The Department of French and Francophone Studies offers language learning and proficiency preparation in addition to general and specialized courses in culture, literature, linguistics, professional French, anthropology, and performance studies. Given the size of the faculty, individual class size remains small, with a typical enrollment limit of just 18 students.

Note: Effective Fall 2023, all main campus courses have been renumbered using a new 4-digit numbering system.
