Charlotte Messaris

A lifelong student of French, Charlotte began her Georgetown career in the Department of French and Francophone studies, where her love of French language and culture grew exponentially in courses like Activist Women’s Fiction, Africans on the Move, and Camus and his Times. Beyond the classroom, Charlotte took part in the John Carroll Summer Internship Program in Saint-Omer and worked as an intern at La Coupole, a World War II museum. Later that year, she studied abroad in Strasbourg, France at the University of Strasbourg and SciencesPo Strasbourg, living with a host family and attending courses taught entirely in French. These key learning and overseas experiences prepared her for an internship at the U.S. Department of State, and later, a full-time position at Deloitte, where Charlotte currently conducts research and analytical work for U.S. government clients.
