Placement Scale (updated 6/5/2017)

Scores are obtained either from the Online Placement Exam or the Proctored Confirmation Exam during New Student Orientation.

Note for students with SAT II scores: even though you may use your SAT II score to enroll in a course, the Department of French and Francophone Studies requires all students to take the Online Placement Exam. If your SAT II score is different from your score on the Placement or Confirmation Exam, you should use the higher placement.
